Reiki healing is suitable for people of all ages, for people of all religions & for people in good or ill health.
Reiki healing works by balances the chakras in the body. There are 7 main chakras in your body, which run in a line from the crown of your head (the Crown Chakra) down to your genital area (the Root Chakra).
During optimum health, these 7 chakras spin in a uniform way, supplying the body with energy. During times of stress, infact just everyday living can affect the way these chakras spin & the result can be manifestations of ill health, having an overall general malaise.
Reiki healing is a form of natural healing, devised by Dr. Usui to help realign these chakras & to thereby enable them to spin at a similar, if not the same speed.
When the energy is being distributed throughout the body in a uniform fashion through Reiki healing, the client will feel more at peace. It is advisable for a client to have a minimum of 3 Reiki healing sessions in order to start feeling some of the positive benefits which can be achieved with Reiki healing.
One Reiki healing session is sufficient if the client is just curious & wishes to experience the wonderful healing qualities of Reiki but if there are any mind, body or spiritual issues then a course of 3 Reiki healing sessions should be taken.
Reiki healing works very well in conjunction with other therapies I offer such as Swedish Massage therapy or Hypnotherapy.
Reiki healing therapy is non invasive & is carried out with the client being fully clothed. The client will spend an hour resting on a massage couch, with soothing music playing & essential oils gently burning in the background.
Sometimes a client may ask to listen to one of my hypnotic inductions (please visit the hypnotherapy section of this site for more information) during their Reiki healing treatment. This can be easily arranged at no extra cost.
Reiki healing is a wonderful, relaxing, energizing therapy.
Although Reiki healing therapy is type casted as a complementary therapy it is starting to be recognized more & more by the Western Medicinal Practitioners.
Reiki healing is suitable for everyone as a complementary therapy. It does not matter if the client is taking medication & works well with most other forms of therapy.
Reiki healing is not a ‘cure all’ & certainly it must be pointed out that it may not cure all your medical problems but it will certainly help ease some of the unpleasant symptoms which might be associated with some long term or terminal illnesses.
Depending on the needs of my clients, we will work together to formulate an ongoing Reiki healing program ranging from a course of 3 intense Reiki healing sessions over a period of 5-10 days to an ongoing maintenance program of 1 session monthly or bi monthly lasting up to 3 to 6 months.
