Allergy Testing
FOOD & ENVIRONMENT ALLERGIES & VITAMIN & MINERAL DEFICIENCIES Many times over our lifetime we may feel ‘below par’. This could be to do with emotional problems which we are having outside our control & other times this could be to with our lifestyle, be it eating & drinking the wrong things, using the wrong washing powders or even taking too many of the wrong vitamins!
If you are suffering from arthritis, asthma, bloating, eczema, hyperactivity, itching, lack of concentration, lethargy, rhinitis, rashes, weight fluctuation etc you just might be suffering from an allergy or deficiency.
The natural response to these feelings are to embark on a radical diet, to hit the gym, to cut out all treats, to self medicate with alcohol or vitamins & minerals & for awhile, things just might improve but as soon as you slip back into your old ways, the symptoms return.
In order to help you break this cycle, I am offering, in conjunction with Malcolm Bloom, a one-stop testing service, where you send me a sample of hair, approximately ½ x 2” in an envelope with your contact details out the outside. My analysis technician will test your hair for each & every one of the product listed below. (If you are a male with short hair, then please provide a small palmful of chest/leg hair, or shavings, & if you colour your hair, this makes no difference either).
Within 1 week from receipt of hair you will have a comprehensive report outlining what intolerances or deficiencies you might have along with any advice the analyst thinks might be beneficial.
You will receive written instructions on the procedure for eliminating problem items, reintroduction of the same & how to identify an item to a symptom. Diet sheets will also be provided where necessary showing where foods may be hidden in secondary items.
These tests are helpful if understanding your body, its tolerances & intolerances but do not in any way take the place of a full medical screening from your doctor. If you feel you have a medical complaint, please do ensure you seek medical advice before embarking on any other therapies or treatments, holistic or otherwise.

And Finally, a few words from Malcolm…
Food sensitivity tries to balance between man and his environment. Our aim is to identify and treat food and environmental sensitivities and to manage the underlying causes of illness, which may be triggering reactions.
Food sensitivity is a negative reaction to an item that causes a symptom. It can be caused the absence of enzymes needed to digest an item or the body’s response to chemicals natural or artificial. Foods contain natural chemicals.
Symptoms vary greatly and produce many symptoms i.e., rashes, Eczema-joint ache-runny nose-low energy-fatigue and many more. People are unable to adapt to modern foods and chemicals and so produce symptoms.
Every person has a list of sensitivities. Foods are natural chemicals and we are living organisms and so it follows that we will not be able to tolerate all substances. There will always be an array of items we are sensitive to.
There may or may not be a visible symptom, but there will be a symptom somewhere to a sensitivity. Symptoms are not usually immediate and can take up to 5 days to manifest.
It is impossible to categorise a specific food to a symptom as every body’s body will react in a different way to a toxic item.
The only real way to know is to have a test and follow the guide to identify a symptom to an item(s).
There are one group of foods that are indicated for children with ADHD/ hyperactivity. This can also be tested at no extra cost. Please make this clear on your envelope when booking a test. Obesity may also be caused by foods as they interfere with the metabolic processes. Thus diets showing no effect as the problem are not calories related.
In addition to the above proper digestion and absorption are two of the most important physiological functions in the body. If these processes are not working properly, optimal health cannot be maintained. Incomplete or disordered digestion can be a major contributor to the development of ill-health.
