How I became an Agony Aunt

I started off my life as an Agony Aunt when she relocated to Spain in 2008.  I met the lovely Thomas within a month of my move & between us we decided that the best ex-pat newspaper on the Costa Blanca CoastRider could do with an Agony Aunt!  I was introduced to Aoife, the editor & the rest is history!  Click here to read the column

For almost 3 years I have answered questions about life in Spain, whether people should move out there, whether they should return back to England.  Whether they should buy a business or whether they should sell!    There have, of course been numerous queries to do with relationships!  Should I get involved?  Should I leave him?  Should I trust this lady?  Where will I find love?

I have lovingly answered all these questions for my ex pat friends in Spain via my weekly column ‘Dear Laura,’ Your Psychic Agony Aunt!  

Many of my loyal readers I have personally met through events organized by Jenny & Malcolm of The CoastRider, along with the private readings I did whilst living in Spain.

At the end of February, 2010 I had to return back to London & sadly thought that would be the end of my association with CoastRider.  It was not to be!  The column has proved so popular over the years that they asked me to continue writing despite being based in the UK.

I am delighted to continue to answer the questions of my ex pat friends & after three years feel somewhat of an authority on anyone wanting to relocate abroad – especially to Spain! ‘Dear Laura,’ Your Psychic Agony Aunt! & also to let those of you in Spain that I am back on the Costa Blanca - in La Marina.

I also supplied the monthly horoscopes for a magazine called Quesada-4-Quesada, an area which I lived before my return to the UK.   The lovely Alan (a brilliant computer repair man too, may I add!) is the editor & after a drink in Claptons on a hot, sunny afternoon the horoscope spot was mine!  Again, despite being located in the UK I keep my toe in the Spanish water!  Unfortunately this magazine has now folded.....

There have been various other publications & organisations which over the years I have written horoscopes for – Zest, Europa Network & Company Women – all based on the Costas.  In early 2010 I was pleased to be offered  the position as Ask The Psychic to the One Stop Cosmic Shop, which is an E-zine.

There is of course my radio work!  From December, 2012 I  joined Celestial Radio on Monday evenings from 8 - 9pm  - Laura Boyle's Psychic Chat Show.  Here listeners can ask various questions about their life & despite time limitations I will endeavour to do my best to answer their questions, live on air!  If you wish to remain annonymous, that is fine - just let us know
